Since ASMC started in 2005, we've been providing high quality after-school Mandarin program at different schools in San Francisco.

 

We collaborate with school and use the provided facilities such as classrooms, library and field yard. Thus, we keep our students in their school to provide a convenient location for parents and safe environment for students.

 

We also collaborate with other afterschool programs such as EXCEL, YMCA and K.E.E.P in order to provide children with alternative learning programs and opportunities to improve their language skills while they are in other after-school program.

  • New Level 1 is for Kindergarten students.

  • Level 2 is for 1st and 2nd graders.

  • Level 3 is for 3rd to 5th graders.

  • As more students enroll, we will set up a separate class for each grade.

  • We follow the SFUSD calendar, with classes held from Monday through Friday, one hour per day.

  • Each day after school, we will pick up Kindergarten and 1st-grade Mandarin students from their classrooms and take them to the playground for a short break before heading to class together. Older students will check in with us in the big upper yard.

  • On Wednesdays, when school ends early, we will pick up students right after dismissal for an additional hour of enrichment activities.

  • Session 1 runs from 3:15 to 4:15 PM. The monthly tuition is $340, plus an annual $80 registration fee and an $80 materials fee.

  • Session 2, designed for  Start2Finish students, runs from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. The monthly tuition is $290, plus an annual $80 registration fee and $80 materials fee.

  • 第一节课时间为下午 3:15 到 4:15，月费为 $340，另需缴纳注册费每年 $80 和材料费 每年$80。

  • 第二节课为 Start2Finish 学生开设，时间为下午 4:30 到 5:30，月费为 $290，另需缴纳注册费每年$80 和材料费 每年$80。​​

Thank you for your continued interest and support for the ASMC Mandarin after-school program. The RLS Mandarin class registration, originally scheduled to open on Friday, April 10 at 8:00 PM will need to be postponed.

This adjustment is related to recent changes in the overall after-school program at the school. The EXCEL program has introduced new policies and arrangements, which have broader implications for coordinating all after-school programs. Currently, multiple programs on campus are working together to align schedules, classroom usage, and related responsibilities, so further adjustments may occur.

​

To ensure accurate information and help families plan accordingly, we will open registration once these details are finalized. We understand that the EXCEL program is expected to open registration in late May. The ASMC Mandarin program will notify families at least one week in advance before our registration opens. Please stay tuned for updates.

       感谢您一直以来对我们辰星中文课后班的关注与支持。RLS校区原计划于4月10日（周五）晚上8点开放的报名，将需要做出相应的调整，报名时间将推迟发布。

       此次调整与学校课后项目的整体变化有关。EXCEL项目近期有新的政策与安排，将对各课后班的整体协调产生较为深远的影响。目前学校内多个课后项目正在进行沟通与协调，涉及课程时间、教室使用以及相关责任安排等多个方面，后续可能会有一定调整。

       为了确保信息准确，并让家长能够更清晰地进行选择和安排，我们将在相关事项进一步明确后再开放报名。我们了解到，EXCEL项目预计将在5月下旬开放报名。ASMC中文班也会至少提前一周通知大家具体报名时间，请您留意后续邮件通知。

 

R. L Stevenson Elementary School is one of our earliest sites. Since 2005, ASMC started collaborating with R.L Stevenson and also K.E.E.P at Stevenson to provide a safe, fun and progressive Mandarin program. 

 

     

2026 Spring class schedule:

 

We pick up our Kindergarten and 1st grader kids right after school at 2:05 pm (12:50 pm on Wednesdays) so they can have a short break before Mandarin class.

ASMC started collaborating with A.P Giannini since 2008 to provide excellent morning Mandarin sessions. We've been providing a trustworthy, safe and fun experience for the students and also a convenient schedule for lots of working parents.
